Register Early

Registering as early as possible ahead of each Outdoor and Indoor season greatly assists Coordinators finalising teams and arranging coaches and managers. Social media and messages to current team lists will advise when registration is open. Register ASAP to make sure you do not miss out. If you intend to play but have not been in contact with the Coordinator or have not completed the relevant player survey contact the Coordinator.

It is recommended that players register in two steps – paying the Hockey Australia Levy first and then upgrading to select your grade. This avoids (especially for the Outdoor season) having to pay the whole amount (Levy and grade fee via credit card) at the same time.

The season fees can be paid either:

- by credit card when registering for your team, noting this will incur a small credit card fee; or

- direct deposit/transfer to the Central bank account as per the invoice you will receive after registering.

Hockey Australia Levy

The annual Hockey Australia insurance levy expires on 31 December of each year. 

All players must pay the current year levy before they participate in any training or games (whether indoor, outdoor, social, interstate, etc). This covers the player from 1 January to 31 December.

Central players should pay the levy via this button regardless of which competition they are first participating in (eg representative, Masters) to streamline planning for Outdoor teams.

Central Outdoor Fee 

You can select the grade you expect to play in and, if there is any change, the fee will be

adjusted once teams are finalised.

For Outdoor hockey, it is Central policy that:

- all senior Club fees must be paid by round 6 of the senior competition unless the player has

arranged a payment plan in advance by emailing the Treasurer;

- all junior Club fees must be paid by round 4 of the junior competition unless the player / parent

has arranged a payment plan in advance by emailing the Treasurer.

Central Indoor Fee

For Indoor hockey, it is Central policy that all senior and junior indoor fees must be paid before round 1 of the Indoor competition.
